American Airline Boss Calls On Chief Of Staff

The new American Airlines Regional Manager for Africa, the Middle East, Asia and parts of Europe, Mark Dennis on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah at the Flagstaff House, Accra.

According to him, the visit was to afford him the opportunity to introduce himself, as well as the new operations of the airline, which has been operating in the country since 1994.

The Regional Manager was accompanied by Joseph Abbey Mensah, General Manager (GSA) and Marisa Roberts Ali, Inside Sales Representative, Offline Sales.

Welcoming the delegation to the Flagstaff House, the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, said government is passionate about doing business with investors who have the expertise to help improve the economy of Ghana.

According to him, government has put structures in place which would help both indigenous and foreign investors to operate comfortably.

He said the government had effectively developed the country’s airports and harbours in Accra, Tema, Tamale, Takoradi and Kumasi.

“We are doing a lot in terms of infrastructural development to ensure that the country’s airports have modern equipment to ensure safety and free flow of goods and services; we believe that in this way we will be creating direct and indirect opportunities for our people while enriching the national purse for a better Ghana,” he stated.
