Alan Should Be Grateful to Akufo-Addo For Not Sacking Him – Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko

A secret chat between Mr. Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, a man who seems to remote-control the President, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and another stalwart of the NPP who is an ardent supporter of the president has revealed how the current reshuffle is being used to sideline a section of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) members who found their way into the Akufo-Addo government.

In a conversation chanced upon by our team, the president would have relieved Mr. Alan Kyeremanteng, the current Minister of Trade and Industry off his post, but for the fact that he doesn’t want to be seen to be kicking out his contenders into the 2020 elections within this short time.

From the chats, it would be strategically illogical for the president to axe Mr. Kyeremanteng days after an individual nurturing presidential ambitions, Mr. Boakye Agyarko was removed from office.

According to Gabby, there is sufficient reasons for the president to replace Mr Kyeremanteng since his performance at the Ministry of Trade and Industry has so far been poor.

Citing the lack of commitment to the President Akufo-Addo’s flagship programme of One District One Factory which falls under his Ministry, “Kyeremanteng had failed to work to ensure that these dreams are materialized almost two years into the Akufo-Addo government”, he stated.

“Ooo man, Alan should be grateful that he was not even removed. Why must we beg him to take up the job in another ministry when what he was entrusted with earlier is nothing to write home about?”, he asked.

“It’s just a matter of time. His wings will be plugged, I am telling you, they will be plugged. He should not even annoy some of us”, he presented.

According to him, Mr. Kyeremanteng has not been able to hide his ambitions of contesting for the 2020 elections, except that he has comported himself. “We will show him the way soon. We can’t risk having him entrench himself in this government especially heading into our 4th year in power”, Gabby stated.

Our team is closely monitoring development, and shall keep you updated.
