Most of Akufo-Addo’s utterances are wrong – Prophet Badu Kobi

The Founder of Glorious Wave Church International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi has said he’s been very worried ever since President Akufo-Addo stated publicly that he was in a hurry to fix the problems of Ghana.

According to him, it is absolutely wrong for the President to make such pronouncements, adding that the more he listens to Nana Akufo-Addo the more saddened he becomes.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during his maiden State of the Nation Address in February replied his critics who accused him of being in a haste as far as his appointments were concerned, saying he is a man in a great hurry.

He noted that the challenges confronting Ghana demand an immediate and concerted effort at addressing them, adding that such challenges informed his decision to put his cabinet together in record time.

“I have heard it said that I am behaving like a man in a hurry, Mr Speaker I am indeed in a hurry. The times in which we live demands that we all be in a hurry to deal with the problems we face. We are going to have to implement some tough, prudent and innovative policies to get out of this financial cul-de sac.”

But speaking to Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa FM, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi said President Akufo Addo is wrong in a lot of things and if he fails to correct himself he will not make any impact at the end of his tenure.

“If President Akufo Addo speaks and I hear him, I become more sad. If I should meet him, I’ll tell him he’s wrong in a lot of things. If he fails to correct himself, he’ll end with some infastructure and that will be all of his presidency. Another statement he made that made me fear for him is when he said he was in a hurry. Even God was not in a hurry to build Heaven and Earth, He took his time using seven days. But you a human being says you’re in a hurry…hurry for what, why do you want to kill yourself?

He added: “If you’re in a hurry you’ll commit a lot of blunders, it is wrong to say that. If I check my President, a lot of things he says are wrong. I’ll continue to criticize him because people don’t like to be told the truth. Why don’t people listen to what some of us say and see if there’s any merit in them.”
