A deputy Spokesperson of the opposition National Democratic Congress election 2020 campaign team, Madam Margaret Ansei known in political circles as Magoo has pronounced that president Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo will sell Ghana to his family members in an unlikely event he wins 2020.
Speaking on political afternoon show ‘Inside Politics’ on Power 97.9 FM, captured on Ghanapoliticsonline.com, she said that so far Akufo-Addo has finished executing his first plans by giving major contracts and appointments to his family members.
She added that the president has recently demonstrated plans of privatizing the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, the Kotoka International Airport among others and even though the plans have backfired because of demonstrations by workers of the above-mentioned institutions and ordinary Ghanaians, he will still go ahead to sell those companies should he win the 2020 elections by any means.
” Four years and we know the number of companies he has collapsed and the number of companies he has diverted to his family members, if we should even add a week to his first four year term, then Ghanaians will be in a big problem”.
She concluded in Same interview captured by Ghanapoliticsonline.com, that Akufo-Addo’s letter suspending the GBC’s DTT directive means the president will revisit the matter one day and that Ghanaians should vote against him before he sells GBC and other state owned enterprises.
