AKUFO-ADDO IS THE BIGGEST CONMAN IN GHANA’S POLITICAL HISTORY

The euphoria that greeted Nana Akufo Addo when he emerged winner of the 2016 election with a pledge to fight corruption has died down. He vehemently condemned his predecessor for borrowing to build hospitals, schools, roads etc and Bawumia told Mahama – Mahama has reduced governance to borrowing.

Two years in office and the Akufo Addo led administration has borrowed over Ghc 50 billion. He said will not run a family and friends government. So far he has appointed over 60 family members including his daughter into his administration. His Vice, has appointed his father in law an ambassador, his brother in law as NADMO coordinator and his brothers special assistants in the ministries.

Majority of our youth who had not followed the politics of the Npp and its presidential candidate, fell for their propaganda and folklore about how they faked corruption charges over their political opponents and manipulated the system through intimidation and victimisation.

Under Akufo Addo’s tenure Ghana has become the object of international ridicule and known around the world as a dangerously corrupt shithole.

Under the man who described himself as an incorruptible person, we witnessed the following corruption s sandals.

-Cash for Seat

-The BOST scandal

-The $2.25 billion bond scandal

-The Ghc 800,000 website scandal

-The Kelni GVG scandal

-The Korle Bu Scandal

-Australia Visa Scandal

-Ameri renegotiation scandal

-Maritime Authority scandal

-Ghana Lottery Authority scandal

-The $134 million oil scandal

-Gifty Klenam Scandal

-Agrc Ministry expired drugs

-Digital Addressing System scandal

– Drones scandal

-National ID Registration construct scandal

-The Gabon Pharmaceutical Company deal

-The NCA deals

-$145,000 paid for photographs

-Over thousand oil marketing companies established

Akufo Addo’s ineptitude, double standard, insensitivity, incompetence, mindless profligacy and intolerably brazen arrogance is unprecedented. With startlingly meaningless sentimentality, the man who was on local and international media platforms chastising governments thinks he is above criticism and says will not respond to aspirants.

There is the need to fight a second struggle for independence. Ghana needs independence from corruption, independence from nepotism and cronyism, independence from unemployment , independence from poverty and independence from lack of opportunities, empty rhetoric and empty promises. Ghanaians are now tired of his long empty talk. He should stop insulting Ghana’s entrepreneurial spirit with his lies and facts distortions.

The President doesn’t even know the direction he is moving the country. He once told us was an admirer of Lula, he moved to Ivory Coast and rained praises on Quatarra, he moved to Singapore, to Malaysia to China and now Japan. This is the President who wants to move Ghana beyond aid. Any corporate head who listens to the Presidents vague promises and empty rhetoric knows that these are antics performed by someone who doesn’t have anything to say. What he does is, when making presentations he takes the only point he has then tries to male it appear as if its a lot of salient points, which in fact, they are not. I wonder if President Akufo Addo and his speech writers are monitoring happenings in the country. Tell him to get the video of the Okaishie traders and listen to the sentiments and lamentations they poured.
