“Akufo-Addo instructs Wontumi to employ same tactics he used in Sacking Afoko to sack Another Northerner”- Wontumi’s Aide

Andy Owusu , special aide to the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party Bernard Antwi Bosiako alias “Chairman Wontumi” has disclosed how Nana Akufo-Addo instructed Chairman Wontumi to deploy same strategy and tactics he (Akufo-Addo) used in sacking the first northener National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party Paul Afoko to sack the Ashanti Regional Treasure Hajia Zainab who is another northerner from the party. Andy Owusu, who made these stunning revelations at a popular chop bar in Kumasi call “PLUS TWO” near the residence of Dr Amoako Tufour, revealed discussions between his boss Chairman Wontumi, Dr Amoako Tufour, chairman of the party’s disciplinary committee in the Ashanti Region and two other elders as to how the twice defeated flagbearer of NPP Nana Akufo-Addo wants them to go about the sacking of the incorruptible regional Treasurer of the party, who happens  to be a Northener , Hajia Zainab. Hajia Zainab, known in the region for her transparency and incorruptibility has been persecuted and sidelined in all activities with respect to Cash and fund raising in the Ashanti Region by Chairman Wontumi .

According to Andy Owusu, “on August 25 2016, there was a meeting at the Georgia Hotel in which Nana Akufo-Addo ordered his fiercest allies and family members such as Boakye Agyarko ,Ken Ofori-Atta and Edward Boateng to sit in that meeting. The meeting was to unravel the mysteries behind the wanton dissipation of the millions of Ghana Cedis accrued at the fund raising event organised early this year at the BabaYara Sports Stadium overhere in Kumasi.

In the meeting, the Regional Treasure, Hajia Zainab who is respected for her bravery and knack for transparency, demanded accountability on the millions of Ghana Cedis accrued from the fund raising exercise, of which records available suggest that, all withdrawals were done by Wontumi His girlfriend Janet Anane and Ashanti Regional Secretary Sam Pyne. Infuriated by this harmless request, Dr Amoako Tufour told Hajia Zainab that, not even Nana Akufo-Addo can call them to account for monies much less a mere her. Hajia Zainab had a standing ovation as she proved beyond reasonable doubt how my boss Wontumi and his sex mate Janet Anane ,who happens to be the country’s sole importer of Vitamilk products, have stashed over 85% of funds from the party’s cash for their selfish interest. In the same meeting, another elder of the party acccused Wontumi of pocketing five hundred thousand Ghana Cedis ( Ghc 500,000) of party’s money given to him by the National Secretariat meant to be distributed to all constituencies in the region for the purposes of monitoring the just ended exhibition of the Voters register.”

Andy Owusu continued “Chairman Wontumi was very uncomfortable and embarrassed in his consistent blurting out of inconsistencies. According to available bank records, As at January 2016, Ghc88,000.00 was at the fundraising accounts at Stanbik, Suame branch. By the close of March, 2016, it was left with 14,100.00. And 85% of those withdrawals as indicated were done by Wontumi and his sex mate, Janet Anane of Vitamilk. A total of Ghc73,900 was withdrawn and Ghc62815 withdrawn by the Wontumi’s girlfriend who is the Country’s sole importer of Vitamilk Products , where as Ghc11,085 were withdrawn by Sam Pynne and Wontumi for their “stomach infrastructure. Wontumi told the meeting that, Cost of printing coupon was Ghc50,100.00;  advert was Ghc14,370 etc, can you imagine? Sam Pyne was accused in the meeting by some elders of expending his share of the stolen money at Manjaro restaurant in Ahodwo on local alcoholic drinks known as Akpeteshie with Braa Charles(pig), Ohene Gyan, Yaw s3b3 and co””

“On Friday which happens to be the following  day after the meeting, Wontumi was at the party’s regional secretariat and he told Dr Amoaku Tufour and two other elders that, Nana Akufo-Addo has called to inform him about the brief report on happenings with respect to cash. Wontumi said to the three elders that, Nana Akufo-Addo has asked them to deploy same strategy which they used in ousting the independent minded Chairman Paul Afoko, Kwabena Agyepong and others. Wontumi indicated that, Nana Akufo-Addo has said, they should frame up a series of lies against the Regional Treasure such as leaking information to NDC, etc  and getting the party’s communications team to be very vociferous in flogging at that lies. According  to Wontumi, Nana Akufo-Addo advised that, because the Regional Treasure is a Northener, it will be much easier to sell a lie and propaganda against her on the subject of leaking information to the NDC. To this end, Wontumi told Dr Amoako Tufour to prepare a suspension letter on the instructions of Nana Akufo-Addo and that, they should begin to look out for two Northeners  to present a petition which was to be prepared by Boakye Agyarko. Wontumi indicated to them that, Nana Akufo-Addo wants to see the back of the Northener regional treasure before the release of campaign funds,” Andy Owusu stated.

Just as Akufo-Addo and his allies concocted wicked lies, framed incongruous falsehoods and the mischievous leakage of twisted and real happenings at meetings in Freddy Blay’s owned Daily Guide Newspaper and Akufo-Addo’s statesman newspaper to justify their utter dislike for the face of the INDEPENDENT MINDED and the first northerner to become the NPP’S National Chairman Paul Afoko which was the reckless basis for the cruelest act of sacking him from the NPP; Nana Akufo-Addo has asked Chairman Wontumi ,Dr Amoako Tufour and others to employ similar tactics to kick out the Regional Treasure, Hajia Zainab who happens to be a Northener.

Several party members have bemoaned the dangerous mindset of Akufo-Addo particularly , his inherent dislike for Northeners and the ridiculous and bigotry manner at which he pitches tribes against against tribes. With this acts of instigating and inciting tribemen against tribesmen, how can Akufo-Addo superintend over Ghana which has different types of people with different tribes, ethnic, religious beliefs, cultures and multi political party, should Ghanaians give him the mandate as President.
