Akufo-Addo government filled with family, girlfriends and baby mamas –Hassan Ayariga (Video)

Founder of All People’s Congress and ardent critic of the Akufo-Addo administration, Hassan Ayariga has launched yet another scathing reproach to the governing party.

Mr. Ayariga described President Akufo-Addo’s government as one “filled with family, girlfriends and baby mamas”.

Assessing the NPP’s year and half tenure in power he stated that the incumbent party’s governance has been riddled with corruption scandals, nepotism, failed promises, just to name a few.

“…Today we see a government which is;

-unable to complete even a quarter of the numerous promises NPP made in the 2016 campaign.

– A government of friends, families, business associates, baby mummies and concubines.

– A government of corruption as if in a contest to win the coveted title of the most corrupt appointee…

– A government of insecurities

– A government of failed promises and further promising

– A government of lies, hopelessness and deceit

– A government of arrogance, bluff, ignorance and threats….

He indicated that he was chagrined at the President’s inability to shuffle his appointees and cabinet since he took office despite the several alleged corruption scandals which had hit them. Asked to grade the overall performance of the Akufo-Addo government, he retorted that there was nothing to grade as they had nothing to show since they resumed office.

Speaking on the recent development of closure of the University of Ghana Medical Centre, Mr. Ayariga also lambasted the First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo for cutting a sod for the establishment of a new Pediatric Unit at the Korle Bu hospital in Accra.

He argued that government had failed in their order of priorities as he expected them to put efforts into opening the completed infrastructure.

The 2016 All People’s Congress flagbearer blamed the death of former Deputy CEO of National Entrepreneurship Innovative Programme (NEIP) Stacy Offie Darko on her inability to access adequate facilities such as the ones which would have been present at the UGMC had it been fully operational.
