Akufo Addo To Drive Out ‘ALIENS’ And Some Northerners IF…

Many years after his late father, President Sir Edward Akufo-Addo and Prime Minister Kofi Abrefa Busia introduced the Aliens Compliance Order in 1969 to drive out immigrants and some Northerners and Muslims from the country described as illegal aliens, his son and NPP 2016 Presidential Candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo is also reported considering visiting same dreadful act on perceived foreigners leaving in Ghana in the unlikely event he is elected President this year.

While the three-time flag bearer of the opposition party has rubbished reports to the effect that he intends driving out Muslims and some non-Akans from Ghana, deep throat sources in the NPP told The aL-hAJJ (GhanaPoliticsOnline.Com) that the man should not be trusted, “he has evil plans against certain category of people, if we come to power”.

According to the source, the refusal by the Electoral Commission to heed to the party’s call for new register and subsequent rejection by the Supreme Court to declare the voter register unconstitutional has forced Nana Akufo-Addo to be contemplating purging the country of some “undesirables”, particularly people from the ECOWAS sub-region.

“Do you remember Nana’s warning that the NPP does not want an ECOWAS register…he and his people have been strategizing on how to even have some Ghanaians, especially those living along our borders names expunge from the register on ground that they are not Ghanaians. This include Ghanaians of northern descent, Voltarians, Nzemas, Muslims and others with non-Akan names”, the source revealed.

The NPP flag bearer early this year cautioned that “We don’t want a West African election; we want a Ghanaian election. We only want an election of Ghanaian people who are entitled to vote.” This refers to the NPP claim that over one million names on the Ghanaian voter register are people from West African nations particularly, Togo, Burkina and Ivory Coast.

Following the Supreme Court judgment in the Abu Ramadan case which ordered the EC to take immediate steps to remove names of persons who used NHI cards as proof of identification and give them another opportunity to register by proving their nationality, the NPP and it’s supposed collaborators in the civil society have been scheming to have the affected persons’ names automatically deleted.GhanaPoliticsonline.com

One of the supposed apolitical commentators spearheading Nana Akufo-Addo’s agenda to remove persons on the voter roll is a leading member of pressure group, Occupy Ghana, Sydney Casely-Hayford who has vowed to challenge the eligibility of every person on the voters register during the EC’s planned exhibition exercise.

He told Citi Fm’s news analysis programme, The Big Issue that, “I will recruit 29,000 people and assign each of them to a polling station and when they go to the polling station, they are supposed to challenge everybody’s name on the polling register.”
“As for me, I’m going to my polling station in McCarthy hill and I’m going to tell the electoral people there that everybody whose name is on that register is an alien and illegal persons and I don’t know them and I suspect they are all foreigners whose names are on the register. So I expect each one of them to be removed from the register and they should be told to come back and come and clarify,” he stated.

His plan has long been the thinking of Nana Akufo-Add and his ilk who not too long ago alleged that over 76000 names on the voter register in the Volta region, mainly ewes and Muslims are foreigners and ought to be removed from the register.

Nana Akufo-Addo has been reported in the media to have said that the NPP will not allow non-Ghanaian names on the register to later determine a President for Ghana.
And, this has emboldened his supporters to intensify the plot to get certain category of peoples’ names removed from the register. According to the source “he will subsequently march them out of the country when he is elected president in a manner akin to what his late father did to Muslims and northerners in 1969.
