Akufo-Addo ‘attracted to violence’ – Group

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, is attracted to violence, a group called Save NPP Now has alleged.

Convener of Save NPP Now Baah Acheamfuor made the accusation at a press conference about the “true state of the NPP” on Monday May 16.

“The cohesive power of the Invincible Forces have bullied and calmed every dissenting voice in the party into submission”, he stated.GhanaPoliticsnline.com

“It is for this reason that we all continuously speak out in order to rid the party of this intolerant military rule.

“In recent times, we have witnessed the open manifestation of the flagbearer’s attraction to violence through the procurement of services of foreign experts who have variously been described as mercenaries.GhanaPoliticsonline.com

“Furthermore, we have read and heard of a report concerning some Serbian nationalists who were brought into the country by the same head of Nana Akufo-Addo’s security to train selected people across the country in the act of civil insurrection.

“This dangerous training, which threatens our national security was assaulting the pillars of power”, Mr Acheamfuor, a known critic of the NPP and Akufo-Addo, said.
