The Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho, has described as not surprising the decision of the President, Nana Akufo-Adddo to nominate a sympathizer of the NPP, Jean Mensa as chairperson of the commission.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen as monitored by GhanaNewsPage.Com, the Bull as he is known said Jean Mensa has been a long standing sympathizer of the NPP.

“Some people are not card bearing members of certain parties, they do it in the bedroom and offices and we know how they argue when we meet them…she is an NPP sympathiser,” he said.
The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo nominated Mrs Juan Adukwei Mensa as the new chairperson of the Electoral Commission.
