The President, Nana Addo Dankwa AKufo-Addo on Wednesday met members of the Diplomatic Corps in Ghana at the Flagstaff House.
In a brief address, he praised Zimbabwe’s High Commissioner and the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Ghana, Pavelyn Tendai Musaka for her stewardship and assured the members of his cooperation during his tenure.
He also took the opportunity to touch on his vision for Ghana and his foreign policy direction going forward.
According to him, Ghana’s foreign policy was going to be heavily characterised by improved relations with its West African counterparts in particular and African countries as in general.
This commitment, he said, was what informed the decision to deploy a contingent 208 soldiers to the recent ECOMOG mission in Gambia.
