Afoko attacked

The home of the suspended national chairman of the New Patriotic Party Paul Afoko was attacked by some unknown individuals on Sunday.

This was disclosed by his close associate and second vice chair of the party Sammy Crabbe.

According to Crabbe, the incident which has been reported to the police occurred while Mr Afoko was at church. He revealed that even though no casualty was recorded, the attackers destroyed several items in the home of the embattled chairman of the elephant family.

Speaking to Fiifi Banson on Kasapa FM Tuesday, Crabbe said the NPP must be cautious of what appears like the systematic breakdown of law and order within their ranks.

“Afoko’s home was also attacked on Sunday and the police was there. He was at church when the incident occurred so he had to call the police from church and they rushed there to save the situation. Most of the frames on his walls were destroyed by the attackers,” he revealed.

The development comes on the back of the attack on the headquarters of the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition Monday dawn.

Twelve people have so far been arrested in connection with the crime. Initial reports linked the attacks to Mr. Afoko. He has, however in a statement, condemned the incident.
