ACP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah is a liar-A plus

Musician and sympathizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as Kwame A-Plus, slammed the Deputy Director of Criminal Investigations Department (CID), ACP Maame Yaay Tiwaa Addo-Danquah for accusing him of leaking a conversation he [A-Plus] had with her.

He described the Deputy CID of being a liar who called and insulted him of being stupid and plotting to blackmail her. ACP Maame Yaay Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, has accused Kwame Asare Obeng, also known as A-Plus, of doctoring an audio circulating in the public which suggest that there was a cover-up in the probe of President Akufo-Addo’s two Deputy Chiefs of Staff.

The leaked tape suggested that the senior police officer coached A-Plus on how to drop the allegations against the two Deputy Chiefs of Staff. ACP Maame Yaay Tiwaa Addo-Danquah said after listening to the leaked tape, she will conclude that

“it is very obvious that my conversation with him has been doctored and/or edited to achieve a deliberate, mischievous and evil purpose.” According to her, part of the conversation “is a total fabrication and figment of the author’s imagination.” However, speaking on Accra based Asempa FM the musician confirmed that it was his voice in the tape but disputed doctoring the tape as suggested. ‘’I am not an expert and so I cannot confirm if the tape was doctored…The CID officer rushed in releasing the statement. She cannot make such an allegation against me without any hardcore evidence. She should sue me if she suspects I leaked or doctored the tape.’’ ‘’She is a lair because she is currently feeling guilty. She called and told me that she knew I recorded our conversation…People are planning to put the blame at my doorstep but I will not entertain that. If you move one step, I will move two steps,’’ he told the host on Asempa FM.
