Abrantie manager’s one week ceremony slated today

The one-week funeral ceremony of the editor of the P&P newspaper, Isaac Kwasi Yeboah, who was the manager of the highlife musician, Amakye Dede, is taking place today, Saturday, January 16 at the Abrantie Spot located at Abeka Lapaz in Accra.

Isaac Yeboah died instantly in a road accident on January 1 when a car he was in with Amakye Dede and his bodyguard Prince Mensah was involved in a fatal accident.

He was with Amakye Dede and his bodyguard waiting for Amakye to perform at the concert at the Paradise Resort at the Bunso junction when the sprinter crashed into them.

Isaac Yeboah, who left behind a wife and two children, has been the Editor for Ghana’s popular newspaper P&P for many years and he was a regular contributor to several showbiz radio programmes in Ghana, including Peace Fm’s Entertainment Review.

Speaking to Abrantie Amakye Dede in an interview, he said his manager’s death was a very painful one, adding that he would remember him in his day to day activities because his manager was not only a friend and a manager but a brother.

“I have lost a brother who was very good to me. It will be difficult for me to forget about him.” He added.

Amakye who was discharged from hospital last week expressed appreciation to all Ghanaians for their prayers and well wishes, including President John Dramani Mahama and Nana Akufo Addo for visiting him.
