A Plus calls for resignation of Kan Dapaah over leaked video call

Controversial musician and a member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame A Plus, has advised the National Security Minister, Albert Kan-Dapaah to resign honourably over his leaked viral video call which shows him sweet-talking a woman who is not his wife.

The footage which is a video call recorded by the ‘side-chic’, details a lovestruck Kan-Dapaah who helplessly takes orders from the lady whose face is not captured in the conversation.

The 66-year-old National Security boss who appeared to be in Europe on assignment was clad in a dark-blue dotted pyjamas which he flaunted upon request by the unidentified lady.

Mr. Kan Dapaah who seemed oblivious of the recording threw all caution to the wind and requested for a hug from her, adding that a hug from her would ‘immediately put him to sleep’.

Further showing his romantic side, the minister informed her that he was going to take his bath and that they would do that together.

When asked whether he misses her, an enthusiastic minister quickly responded, “Of course, of course!”The conversation ends with Mr. Dapaah professing his love for his ‘bae’.

While most Ghanaians who posted and commented on the video have laughed it off, some have not been so kind to the Minister who appeared excited in the trending video.

Many have described his action as reckless and a dent to his portfolio as the National Security Minister for the country.

Concerns have also been raised about how the Minister missed the fact that he was being recorded and why he eagerly relayed personal details about his trip and a subsequent meeting to a ‘lover’ he could not see.

Sharing his thoughts about the viral video, A Plus in a Facebook post sighted by HotfmGhana.com advised Mr.Kan Dapaah to resign in order to save his hard-earned reputation.

“As for resign, no doubt, he must resign. I feel sorry for him. It is unfortunate that this has happened to a respected democrat like Albert Kan Dapaah. (The thing pain me rough.)

This is not something to rejoice over. We must rather learn from it. I wish he would be the honorable man we know him to be by accepting responsibility, apologizing to his family, loved ones and Ghana.

And please, please, I beg you, let’s all forgive him. When the heart pumps blood into that “langalanga” between our legs, the mind in most cases switches off the part that is meant for caution. Please kindly be lenient towards him. Don’t discuss…” He wrote
