89 groups in Upper West benefit from MASLOC loans

disburses loans eighty nine groups in the Upper West Region.

The Micro Finance and Small Loans Centre, MASLOC has disbursed eight hundred and eighty-six thousand four hundred Ghana Cedis to eighty nine groups in the Upper West Region.

The move is aimed at empowering the beneficiaries financially to be able to venture into small and medium businesses to improve upon livelihoods.

Deputy Chief Executive Officer of MASLOC, Mustapha Abubakar disclosed this to GBC’s Radio Ghana in Wa after disbursing loans to the eleven Municipal and Districts in the region.

Mr Abubakar dismissed assertions by a section of the public that the loans are given to only National Democratic Congress (NDC) party faithful.
