5.2m Dollars Blown ……On NPP Mercenaries

Information trickling in to the Republic Newspaper/GhanaPoliticsOnline.Com indicates that the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) may have blown a whopping US$5.2million on its covert operations to sneak in foreign mercenaries into the country to cause mayhem.

It is unclear where these funds came from, but sources within the NPP say, several top members of the party are unaware of these covert operations. They concede that it is firmly wrapped within the Kitchen Cabinet of party flagbearer, Nana Akufo Addo, whose close cabinet consists of friends and family members.

This party funded covert operation are said to be coordinated by Captain (rtd) Edmund Kojo Koda, the head of security operations of Akufo Addo. Captain Koda is also reputed as an astute military tactician who played a major role in the 1979 military Coup d’état.

Additionally, Captain Koda who who broke jail after being imprisoned for seven years in the late 1970s for corruption, is also reportedly notorious for his torture and maiming of civilians during the Military government of the AFRC/PNDC in the late 1970s.

He is reported to be in contact with foreign security expert to discuss the terms of a sting operations to undertake strategic reconnaissance and security operations targeted at helping his boss Akufo Addo win the 2016 elections at all cost.

The latest was the controversial spiriting of three South African ex-policemen to train several party militants of the NPP.

Ther three South Africans: Ahmed Shik Hazis (54), Denver Dweyhe (33) and Mlungiseli Jokani (45) were picked up a week ago, for training 15 NPP militants in various security drills including armed and unarmed combat techniques. The BNI who picked them up in an obscure part of the Western Region upon tip-off had charged them to court amidst protest from the NPP.

On Tuesday, the Ghana Immigration Service deported the trio back to South Africa.
However, this might not be the only secret covert operations being facilitated by the opposition NPP towards the 2016 high-stakes Presidential elections.

The Interrior Ministry in a statement issued through its Minister Prosper K. Bani, has stated that apparently, Captain Koda in 2014 engaging some Serbian Nationals to secretly start a civil war in Ghana, in an operation code named “Asaultig the Pillars of Power”.
According to the Interior Ministry which described Captain Koda as a dissident, revealed that he “was profiled by National Security for subversive acts including an alert in 2014 after his name popped up during investigations into the activities of some Serbian nationals brought into the country to train some people in the art of civil insurrection, dubbed ‘Assaulting the Pillars of power’.
