47 NDC MPs Exit Group resolves to ensure ‘One Touch Victory’ for Prez Mahama

Forty seven Members of Parliament from the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) who are exiting Parliament have come together as a group called 2016 NDC MPs Exit Group and have pledged their support behind President John Mahama.

According to them, their aim is to campaign vigorously for President John Dramani and the umbrella family to ensure that they win one touch in the December polls.

Addressing the press in Accra on Thursday, Deputy Majority Leader and outgoing MP for Ashaiman, Alfred Agbesi said they have vast experience in the campaign process and believe that once that is applied they would be able to help the NDC party secure the one touch victory needed to enable President Mahama continue with his unprecedented infrastructural development drive in his second term.

Mr Agbesi also indicated that they are committed to strategise and bring to bear their experience for the re-election of President Mahama.

The group, he further stated, was borne out of the impressive and unprecedented infrastructural development projects across the country under President Mahama.

They intend to tour all the constituencies across the country to canvass votes for the NDC and President Mahama.

Already,they have been to some constituencies in the Greater Accra, Volta and Central Regions.

The group will be split into regional groups to visit their respective regions and constituencies to campaign for the one touch victory.
