29 Fanteakwa communities to enjoy power supply – President Mahama

Twenty-nine communities in Fanteakwa North have been selected to benefit from electricity supply under the rural electrification project, President John Dramani Mahama has announced.

He mentioned some of these as Kwasibom, Otuateh, Owusukrom, Miaso and Adokrom.

Funding arrangement for the project, he indicated, had already been sent to parliament for approval.

President Mahama was addressing a political rally at Ahomahomaso on day two of his election campaign to woo voters in the Eastern Region ahead of the December 07, general election.

He told the people that three roads in the constituency would be put into good shape under the cocoa roads rehabilitation project.

These are the Osiem-Begoro, Obuoho-Dedeso and Abuoso-Asesewa roads.

He said there could be no doubt that on completion, it would bring tremendous boost to agricultural production – smooth transportation of farm produce to the marketing centres.

President Mahama said his government would continue to work hard to bring development to the population and that no part of the country would be denied their fair share of development projects.

Mr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, Director of Elections of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), asked the people to reward the government for the massive development in the area with their votes.

He credited his party with all the development projects in the constituency.
