Member Of Parliament For Ellembelle Constituency Donates To Fish Mongers

Member of Parliament for the Ellembelle Constituency in the Western Region who doubles as Ghana’s Petroleum Minister Mr Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah has supported has financially supported fish mongers in the Esiama Fishing Community.

As part of his “community based assistance”, Dr Buah donated a total sum of over 2000Ghana Cedis to the fish mongers as a trial project to support them. The beneficiaries were twenty women.

” This is just the beginning, we will replicate this act in all the other communities in the Ellembelle district and beyond”, Dr Buah stressed.

The Member of Parliament for the area advised the fish mongers take very good care of their children especially in terms of Education.

He also expressed satisfaction and gratitude for the extensive support the fishing communities have shown to the NDC government and urged them to maintain the trust they have in the Mahama led Administration.

Dr Armah Kofi-Buah appealed to the Esiama to maintain peace and order before and after the November 7 polls.

Mr Rose Kaku, on behalf of the beneficiaries, thanked the Lawmaker for the benevolent support he has shown them and expressed their profound gratitude and appreciation to him.

Speaking to Ghanapoliticsonline.com reporter Daniel Kaku after the donation, Mrs Rose Kaku said that they haven’t seen such a humble member of Parliament since 1992. She said no MP had bothered to visit them even though most knew the challenges they were facing.
