Work on Ho township roads commences

 In line with NDC manifesto promise to ensure the maintenance of existing road infrastructure in order to reduce costs associated with vehicle operations and road rehabilitation.

Page 53 The construction work on the 25 kilometers roads in the Ho township has begun in earnest.

First Sky Limited, a local construction company, has been awarded the contract which would involve asphalting and is expected to be completed by middle of the year.

The Minister Of Roads and Highways, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini, who inspected the trail run of the asphalt, said that apart from Ho, Hohoe and Keta town roads would also receive similar facelift of 10 kilometers and 5 kilometers respectively. Ahaji Fuseini explained that the thickness of the asphalt road which, was about 70 millimeters, was the standard for urban roads and was confident the contractor would do a good work.
