Gospel Diva Maame Esi Calls For Industry Support For Her Career

Ghanaian gospel diva, Mrs. Esi Egyin, has called on players in the entertainment industry to support her to excel in her chosen field.

Esi, who is poised for action, said, “I have a big dream and wants to go far with my music career. ”

She strongly believes she can go far “in my music career if I can have everyone’s support — even if I can’t make it in the main stream, I will still appeal to some class of people in the church ministration.”

She expressed how difficult it has been for her since she started singing at age 13 — many years before meeting her husband.

“I started my music career at age 13 at St. Peter’s Methodist, I see God has his own plans for my life –though it has taken long.”

Touching on the launch of her album titled ‘Aseda Bebree’ at the church of Pentecost, she intimidated how successful it was and thanked her colleague musicians who came to support her through performances.

Her target is to sell 50, 000 of her album by the end of the year — a feat she admits is difficult to achieve but with Grace and strategies from her management, she hopes to fulfill.
