The Ministry of Education says postings for all 16,432 newly trained teachers from both Public and Private Colleges of Education are ready.
In a statement, the Ministry refuted claims in certain quarters that newly trained teachers will not be absorbed this year, because of the high numbers of graduates due to government’s decision to abolish the quota system.
The system has been automated to avoid the associated risks and financial implications of traveling to Regional Education Offices to check postings.
Additionally, appointment letters will be available online to be printed by the new teachers.
The statement said the postings can be accessed online from Friday, September 9, 2016 on www.gespostings.net.
They are advised to click on the ‘newly trained’ notification bar at the website and provide their serial number and PIN which can be obtained on the same website following the instructions provided.
