Manasseh Gyasi Calls For Stephen Appiah To Be Honoured

Captain of Zinaps football Club’s Under 17, Manasseh Gyasi, has stated that ex-Black Stars captain, Stephen Appiah, deserves honoring because being a captain of a football club is an onerous and testing responsibility.

The captain of Zinaps football club, made those proclamations when Stephen Appiah met to encourage, motivate, and advised him to keep up the good work he’s doing for his club.

Manasseh Gyasi said after being a captain for 8 years with his club, he has come to realize that it’s an arduous job to play the role of a captain of a football club but it’s still a unique honour and privilege.

Speaking about Stephen Appiah also known as Tornado, he stated that considering how the ex-captain of the Black Stars was able to hold the national team for 10 years devoid of scandals and revulsion from his team mates, is one feat he really admires and aspire for.

According to him, as a Midfielder who doubles as a role model, he recently had an encounter with the ex-captain in which he motivated him and told him that he will in future be a great player if he keeps up playing and training harder.

He added that as a captain, he has also learnt a lot and that makes him proud to be a leader as he celebrates his 9 years in his captainship.
